I’m constantly tinkering with stuff, either through code or physical projects, and often both at the same time.
Here is a list of all the things I’ve been up to that I’m proud of.

HP Rackserver

In 2019 I bought a HP Proliant DL380p gen 8 full-size rack server. I intended to run a bunch of self-hosted applications on them, as well as general tinkering with a dedicated server. I documented the whole process of setting up the server, getting appropriate security on it, and finally installing software to self-host. Read the full post here.

Keyboards and Keyboard Firmware

QMK Firmware Contributor

• I helped port the QMK custom firmware to the YMD96, a keyboard I bought. Others have since built on what I started and made the keyboard firmware even better.
• QMK is controller firmware for Atmel AVR microcontrollers, which is usually embedded on keyboard PCBs or on Teensy’s (in the case of hand-wired keyboards).

Laser

• This is a keyboard that I built myself from scratch, hand designing all the necessary files. I believe this keyboard deserves its own post, but for now the link above should give enough details.

Movies?

Believe it or not I have helped produce two feature-length movies, and also a short film (which isn’t public). I believe they demonstrate leadership skills, but mainly I did it for fun. Here are the links to YouTube:
